Open connectors

Open perplexity.ai, sign in, and go to Computer → Connectors.

Find Consensus

Search for Consensus and click Connect.

Sign in

Sign in with your Consensus account when prompted.

Set tool permissions

Under Manage permissions, choose Allow, Always ask, or Disable for each Consensus tool.

Start searching

Ask a research question, or call it by name: “Use the Consensus agent to identify the pros and cons of GLP-1s.”
Use Perplexity Computer mode for the best experience. Search mode handles tool calls differently, so multi-step Threads work more reliably in Computer mode.
